OPAC suggestion

Would it be possible to add a confirmation message in OPAC, when a download link is clicked.   Right now, (at least in Edge and Chrome), when a patron clicks the download link, without getting a confirmation message, many don't realize that it automatically goes to their download folder.  As a result, they click the link more than one time, and electronic circulation numbers aren't fully accurate.

This is an excellent idea, as is (hopefully) adding a confirmation notice after someone submits an address update. At the very leat (for both) have it say "Please click only once" someplace on the screen.

This should be possible with a small update, and has been brought to Development's attention. Right now, our focus is on releasing Windows 11 support, but hopefully we can get this into a release early next year.

Would folks prefer a pop-up message, something in-line on the page, or just whichever is easier to implement? As always, we'll make sure that whatever we implement will be screen reader accessible--that may end up driving which way we go for the confirmation. But if you have a preference for what this should look like, let us know!

Both would be great, but if we can only have one, I would prefer the pop-up.
