I was wondering how you all handle equipment items that have been discontinued by APH? Do you completely delete the Eqp holding or do you simply mark the status as withdrawn? We asked KLAS to add a "DISCONTINUED" to the drop down menu and are currently using it along with OPAC suppress box. This is a nice feature but still give us a lot of holding to scroll through when looking at equpment records. Deleting it was problematic because we could not go back to old MatReq and see what items had been ordered if the holding had been deleted. Any thoughts or recommendations about how others are doing it?
