Extra, extra! Extra issue of Guidepost

We've gotten a few questions from libraries needed to receive an additional issue of Guidepost, SER-GUI9. This is a monthly magazine, so normal workflows will not allow you to add a second December issue.

Instead, add an additional Caption with the type "Supplement." Keystone-Hosted libraries: we've gone ahead and done this for you. For self-hosted libraries, give it the same Chron set up as the Basic and the Pattern @Chron2@-@Chron1@ (or ask Customer Support to set it up).

You can then select the Supplement Caption from the "Type/Cap Num" combo-box on the Serial Add Issue screen, and type in the Issue Name as needed.

This method will work for any other serials that occasionally have a special issue that doesn't fit into their normal sequencing. As always, let us know if you have questions or need assistance!
