Permalinks in the New (Forthcoming) Web OPC

How will permalinks read in the new/forthcoming web OPAC?

Currently, a permalink for DB102149 reads as:
mn1a.klas.com/title/summary.jsf?id=597926695.7132

Is there any chance that in the new web OPAC that the KLAS ID could be included to make the URL's more readable?  For example, I'd prefer our current URL read like this...
mn1a.klas.com/title/summary.jsf?id=DB102149

Or better yet be shortened to something like...
mn1a.klas.com/DB/DB102149

(NOTE: I'm suggesting the "/DB/" path be created by the Medium Code shown on our Title-Bib page.)

The more readable the URL, the better. It'd be nice to have a URL that we could copy and paste, and then just modify the ending with a KLAS ID.

Anyone else like this idea or have other suggestions?  I'm not sure how easy or reasonable this request is.

This is a good idea. We'd like to see it also, to make the URL more readable across the board and it also would allow us to repurpose links on other parts of our website to build bibliographies. In fact, if this was an automatically built URL you could probably setup some kind of scope in whatever system you use to pull in these link and repurposed them.
